Q: What is permanent makeup?


A: Permanent Makeup is the process of inserting pigment molecules into the dermis.The end result is tattooed eyebrows, eyeliner, or lips.

A: No, A registered nurse administers a local anesthetic and/or Pro Nox (Laughing Gas), just like visiting the dentist. 

Q: How long does it take to heal?


A: On average a patient will be swollen about 1-3 day. Most patients are able to return to work after the swelling resolves.

Q: How long will the makeup last?


A: Permanent cosmetics are permanent in that you will always have a permanent marking on your skin. Over time, you will notice a gradual softening of color occurring each year.

Q: How long does the procedure take?


A: Each procedure takes about 1-2 hours.

Q: Can I have an MRI after I have had permanent makeup?


A: Research has shown that an MRI may be performed on patients with permanent makeup without any serious soft tissue reactions or adverse effects. During the MRI there may be a tingling, or buring sensation, where the permanent makeup is located. However, applying wet gauze to area will decrease any discomfort.
